Ombre-shaded, pure georgette Banarasi cutwork (non-handloom) saree, with Roopa (silver) zari borders and pallu, and dense buttis all over. Cutwork Banarasi is an easier weaving technique in handloom or powerloom, where the motifs are woven together with the saree. As a result, the reverse of the fabric shows loose threads between motifs, which are manually cut away, leaving rough edges around each motif.
